Accelerometers The piezoelectric accelerometer AC103.02 and AC104.01 have been designed for permanent vibration monitoring in harsh industrial environments . The sensor is hermetically sealed and is connected via a 2-wire connector according to industry standard ICP. The connector is used to supply the integrated charge preamplifier, which is supplied with a 4mA constant current ( +22 to + 28VDC idle ) . The internal sensor element is protected by a Faraday cage against electromagnetic fields and through a surge protector against static high-voltage discharges ( ESD ). The magnetic protection is connected to the signal ground. In addition, the two signal lines, signal plus and signal ground, are galvanically isolated from the housing and thus of PE to avoid ground. By using a piezoelectric crystal, which is operated in shear mode, you reach a low sensitivity to thermal effects and random vibration excitations. A low-noise charge preamplifier and a temperature compensated circuit layout provides accurate measurements and stable operating points (BIAS-Voltage). Various cable sets (connector version 2 -pin-MIL or 4 -pin-M12) are available in two standard lengths from stock. The operating temperature of the cable can be 90 ° C or 120 ° C. A version with an integrated sensor cable is also available. All cable sets are supplied with open wire ends . The mounting of the sensor is carried out with a M6 Allen screw (DIN 912, ISO 4762), or an M8 hex bolt (DIN 931, ISO4014Tightening / 4017). Typical applications include vibration measurements and monitoring of industrial equipment for the detection of unbalance, misalignment of drive shafts, rolling bearings and gear states, cavitation of pumps, overall vibration of fans, motors, couplings etc.
